Our Church Membership Our Ministries Our Mission Meet us

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth;" Isaiah 43:19

At Old Union Baptist Church, our desire is to be the church of Jesus Christ. We desire to train and mobilize our people to be Kingdom focused at home and abroad. Through the Lord's leadership, we are in the process of developing ministries that will equip the saints to do the work of the ministry.
For Children

We desire to reach out to children in our community. We provide many things for them through Sunday school, nursery, VBS, Children's Church, and much more. Each child that attends our church is encouraged to join in the activities we have available so that they can learn more about Jesus.

For Youth

We desire to help this generation of youth be fulfilled in Christ. The youth are very involved in learning as well as serving in ministries so that Christ may work in and through their lives. Our youth meet on Sundays for Bible study in the morning and evening. A special worship designed for them is on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM. During that Pastor Rob Minton leads the service and preaches from God's Word. Come and bring a friend. Our students are also very involved in other activities throughout the year such as youth camp, retreats, and conferences.

For Young Families

Statistics say that the median age of the people living within our community is 34. Realizing that, we believe that God is calling Old Union to reach out to this generation. We are currently developing classes that are designated for this age group up to 49. We understand the pressures of the world so we are committed to train and equip those families in marriage, raising children, handling finances, and much more. Specific discipleship classes are offered so that we might understand our God-given roles and responsibilities.

For Senior Adults

Our seniors are not a forgotten group in our church because they have been very instrumental in the overall ministry of Old Union for over 100 years. There are monthly activities which range from covered dish dinners to mystery trips to unknown destinations. Missions are also very important to our seniors as they visit area nursing homes and other various hospitals.
